1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the rights and obligations between Animal Enrichment, s. r. o. (the “Seller”) and the buyer (the “Buyer”) when purchasing via the e‑shop www.animalenrichment.eu. The Seller delivers goods only to Member States of the European Union.
2. Contract informacion
An order placed by the Buyer via the e‑shop constitutes an offer to conclude a purchase contract. The contract is concluded when the Seller confirms the order by e‑mail, including the current Terms attached or linked. The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order (e.g., due to impossibility of production or technical/capacity limitations); the Buyer will be informed of any refusal and the reasons without undue delay.
3. Product specification and custom modifications
All offered products are handmade and typically produced to order. The Buyer must state any custom requirements when placing the order (dimensions, mounting type, number of holes, etc.). The Seller may adjust the price according to the scope of requested modifications; the Buyer will be informed of any price change before production begins. Due to the use of natural materials and handmade production, natural variations in colour, size or texture are not considered defects.
4. Production, lead times and delivery information
The standard production lead time is up to 30 calendar days from the date the purchase price is credited to the Seller’s account. The exact production and dispatch date depends on the current workload of the maker; an indicative date will be confirmed to the Buyer after order acceptance and any changes will be communicated without undue delay. Express production is available only by prior agreement and may be subject to additional charges.
5. Ceny, měna a platební podmínky
Prices of goods are shown inclusive of all taxes and fees. Currency: CZK for customers in the Czech Republic, EUR for customers in other EU countries. The purchase price is payable in advance. Available payment methods: card payment via the integrated payment gateway, bank transfer.

The purchase price is due within 7 days of order confirmation; production will start after the payment has been credited to the Seller’s account. An invoice (tax document) is sent electronically to the Buyer.
6. Delivery and shipping conditions
Delivery in the Czech Republic is provided by PPL, GLS and DPD. Delivery to EU countries is carried out via GLS. In the case of oversized shipments, increased weight or the need to split the order into multiple packages, the Seller reserves the right to adjust the shipping price; the Buyer will be informed of such adjustment before dispatch and any difference may be invoiced. The risk of damage to the goods passes to the Buyer upon acceptance of the shipment from the carrier. The Buyer is obliged to check the integrity of the packaging upon receipt and immediately record any apparent damage with the carrier.
7. Right of withdrawal and returns
The Buyer has no right to withdraw from the contract in the case of goods manufactured according to their wishes or adapted to their personal needs (exception under Section 1837 of the Czech Civil Code). For standard (non‑customised) products, the Buyer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. The Buyer is obliged to inform the Seller of the withdrawal by e‑mail and state the order/invoice number.
The Buyer must return the goods to the return address: Tři Dvory 343, 280 02 Tři Dvory, Czech Republic, no later than 14 days after notifying the withdrawal from the contract. The goods must be returned undamaged, complete and properly packaged. The costs of returning the goods are borne by the Buyer, unless otherwise agreed.
The Seller will refund the Buyer all payments received, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from the Buyer’s choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by the Seller), no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal from the contract. The Seller is entitled to withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or until the Buyer proves that the goods have been sent back.

8. Complaints and defects
The Buyer shall submit a complaint by e‑mail including a description of the defect, photographic documentation and the order number. Apparent defects must be reported without undue delay, no later than 14 days after receipt of the shipment. The Seller will confirm receipt of the complaint within 5 business days and propose a method of resolution without undue delay. Complaints will be settled no later than 30 days after submission, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.
Products intended for animals are subject to wear and tear; normal wear resulting from use is not considered a defect. The Seller is not liable for damage caused by improper installation, unsuitable use or failure to follow care instructions.
9. Warranty period
For consumers, the statutory warranty period is 24 months from the date of receipt of the goods, unless otherwise provided by law. For buyers who are entrepreneurs, the warranty period may be agreed between the parties or follow common practice.
10. Personal data protection (GDPR)
The Seller is the controller of personal data. Personal data are processed to the extent necessary to process orders, issue documents, deliver goods, comply with legal obligations and communicate with the Buyer. The legal basis for processing is the performance of the contract and the Seller’s legitimate interest; personal data for marketing purposes are processed only on the basis of consent. The Buyer’s rights under the GDPR (in particular access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection) may be exercised via lucie@animalenrichment.eu. Details are provided in the separate “Privacy Policy” available on the e‑shop.
11. Alternative dispute resolution; governing law and changes to the Terms
Consumers may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority in case of disputes. The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform is available at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. . The legal relationships between the Seller and the Buyer are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. The Seller is entitled to amend these Terms; the effective wording is always published on the e‑shop. Changes to the Terms do not affect contracts already concluded.
