This hand-made wicker Shake-Tube Feeder is a hanging enrichment item that promotes mental stimulation, fine motor skills and patience. Inside the tube there are two internal levels, creating three separate compartments. Each level has its own opening positioned on a different side, so the openings are not aligned one above another.

The animal's task is to move the food from the upper levels down to the bottom compartment, from which it can be retrieved through the side opening. Thanks to the small gaps between the woven wicker, the animal can see the contents inside, which motivates it to solve the task. To reach the food, it has to tilt, shake or rotate the feeder – a process that promotes focus, movement coordination and natural foraging.
