DIAL FEEDER

€260 Measure price:
Avaiable on request

This handcrafted rotating feeder is an enrichment item that encourages natural curiosity, trains fine motor skills and teaches animals the connection between their own actions and the reward. The bottom board contains chambers that can be filled with food. The rotating top board has only two openings, so the animal has to turn it until an opening lines up with a filled chamber. The chambers are arranged in two circles, and each opening in the top board reveals only one of them. Since the animal does not know in advance where the food is hidden, it has to search, try and persevere.

The rotation resistance of the top board can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the central stainless steel bolt, so the difficulty can be adapted to the strength and experience of the particular animals.

The Dial Feeder can be placed on the ground, attached to a wall or mesh, or hung on ropes. This makes it suitable for a wide range of species and environments.
